Daisuke Sekimoto Hospitalized After Serious Injury at 5/29 Big Japan Event

Thursday’s event for Big Japan Pro Wrestling in Tokyo, Japan featured Daisuke Sekimoto suffering a spinal-related injury.

The injury occurred during Sekimoto’s Six-Man Tag Team match with Ryuji Ito & Abdullah Kobayashi against Yuuki Miyamoto, Ryota Hama, & Andy Wu. During the match, Sekimoto was hit with a swinging DDT resulting in him not being able to get up and the referee calling for the bell.
