As noted before, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has been on a hiatus since November of 2023 and last held an event in August of that year due family-related health issues involving PWG owner Super Dragon’s girlfriend’s battle with cancer.
The Young Bucks’ Matthew Jackson recently released a new Q&A video on his Never Not Jet Lagged YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Jackson’s thoughts about his interest in potentially purchasing PWG if it were ever to be available for sale.
“Me and Nick have talked about a lot of things. We’ve talked about buying PWG. Starting our own indie. A wrestling school. In the next few years, if we’re going to do something, it’ll probably happen in the next few years …
Let me clarify, I don’t know if PWG is for sale. If it was for sale, I would make an offer.”
Prior to the formation of AEW, the Young Bucks had worked in PWG from 2007 to 2018 during their indies careers and were among the most famous talents to work in the promotion.
