Joe Hendry vs. Trick Williams for TNA World Title Announced for TNA Slammiversary 2025

Friday’s special live sneak preview TNA Impact! show at the UPMC Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania featured one new match announced for the card of Slammiversary 2025, which takes place on July 20th at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

This new match announced was a TNA World Championship match of Joe Hendry vs. Trick Williams (c).

  • TNA X-Division Championship – Leon Slater vs. Moose (c)

Jacy Jayne Makes Surprise Appearance on Friday’s TNA Impact! Show

Friday’s special live TNA Impact! show also featured WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne making a surprise appearance.

Following Ash By Elegance’s victory in a #1 Contender’s Battle Royal match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship, TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich came out to confront Elegance. This led to Jayne making her surprise return appearance and came out resulting in a staredown taking place between Elegance, Slamovich, and Jayne.


Cedric Alexander Makes Surprise TNA Debut on Friday’s TNA Impact! Show

Friday’s special live TNA Impact! show also featured former WWE talent Cedric Alexander making his surprise debut in TNA.

Following Mustafa Ali’s victory over John Skyler in a Call To Arms match, Ali left the ring to grab a chair only to be stopped by Jason Hotch. This led to Ali shoving Hotch into the post and attempted to attack him with a chair only to be stopped by Tasha Steelz. Ali then attempted to attack Steelz with the chair only to be interrupted by Alexander’s music playing. Alexander came out and trued to talk down Ali leading to Ali dropping the chair and grabbed Steelz hand trying to leave with her only for Alexander to grab Steelz other hand to stop Ali. This led to Ali getting into Alexander’s face only to back down after The Great Hands got up to back up Alexander and Steelz. This led to Ali leaving the ring and staring down Alexander.
