Ace Austin Thanks TNA for Career with Company & Says TNA “Will Always Be My First Home”
As noted before, Ace Austin’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired this past May and he has departed from the company.
Austin recently reflected on Twitter about his time with TNA and thanked the company for all of the opportunities and moments they gave him for the six years he spent with them.
“There’s so much to be said about how phenomenal the last 6 years have been,” he said. “It’s impossible to caption how much this time has meant to me. I’m grateful for every moment and I’m incredibly proud of the part I played. Representing the company across the world was an honor. This will always be my first home.
They gave me an opportunity to shine and I gave them some of the best years of my life. Together we flourished. One of the best things about #TNA is the door always swings both ways.”

Nixon Newell Comments on Lack of Bookings for Her Post-WWE Career
As noted before, Tegan Nox was released from WWE this past November. Nox is currently working under the ring name of Nixon Newell that she used prior to her career in WWE.
A recent episode of the Wrestling In The Middle podcast featured Newell as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Newell’s thoughts about her current free agency period and the lack of bookings she has received so far for her post-WWE wrestling career.
“Not great, to be honest. Severe lack of bookings. I’m not sure where that’s from, but the bookings that I have done, like I’ve been home to ATTACK!, which has been phenomenal. Got to wrestle Dani Luna, who’s been on my list, God, for years since she first started training, I could tell she was going to be something special. So she’s been on my list for a very, very long time. So I’m glad that one was in the books at least. But yeah, it’s been slow. Hopefully it picks up soon because it’s a nightmare. But hopefully soon it gets better.”
