TNA Announces Live Impact! Show on July 24th in Rhode Island

TNA Wrestling announced that they will be holding their next live Impact! show on July 24th at the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island.

It was also announced that they will be holding a new set of Impact! tapings on July 25th at the same venue.

It was also announced that tickets for this upcoming set of events will officially go on sale starting on June 17th for the pre-sale and June 18th for the general public.

John Silver Makes Return from Injury on 6/12 ROH TV Show

John Silver has been out of action for AEW and Ring of Honor since this past December due to a torn hamstring injury with the exception of him working through his injury at this past December’s ROH final Battle 2024 event.

Thursday’s ROH TV show featured Silver making his surprise return from injury. Following Preston Vance’s victory over Evil Uno, the Frat House attacked Dark Order’s Uno and Alex Reynolds leading to Silver coming out to save Uno and Reynolds and helped clear the ring of the Frat House.

In a follow up segment, the Dark Order issued a challenge to the Frat House for a Trios match at any time and anywhere.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

As noted before, Tessa Blanchard had been out of action for TNA Wrestling since this past May’s Under Siege 2025 event due to a Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction injury. Thursday’s TNA Impact! show featured the announcement of Blanchard being medically cleared from her injury and her competing in a 8-4-1 match for the #1 Contendership for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show also featured TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella announcing that Mike Santana has been suspended for two weeks due to his actions at last week’s Against All Odds 2025 event and if he breaks the suspension, then he could get fired. Marella also promised that after two weeks, he will give Santana whatever he wants against AJ Francis.

TNA Wrestling announced four new matches for the card of next week’s Impact! show on June 19th on AXS TV and Sportsnet 360:

TNA celebrates 23rd anniversary

Fightful’s Andrew Thompson reported that the National Wrestling Alliance filed their opposition to AEW’s trademark for “AEW Shockwave” on June 5th to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Thompson reported that while the NWA had filed their trademark for “NWA Shockwave” several weeks after AEW did, they are currently claiming common law rights dating back to 2020. The NWA held one season of NWA Shockwave in December of 2020. In their filing, the NWA stated that they had sent a legal notice to AEW’s legal team on September 26th demanding that they abandon their intentions to use the Shockwave name also also agree to not use any variation of the word for a wrestling show.

Luke Gallows’ Lariat Pro Wrestling announced that they have recently signed a broadcasting deal with with STGN 49 MEDIA GROUP to air their live events, podcasts, and pay-per-views events on several streaming platforms in 33 countries.

WrestleCon recently announced that Layla El, Anthony Bowens, and WWE Hall of Famers JBL and Ron Simmons will be making an appearance at their WrestleCon Destination Newark event on August 1-2 in Newark, New Jersey.

WWE Hall of Famer and ECW legend Rob Van Dam recently announced that he and his wife Katie Forbes are currently expecting the birth of their first child.

Stardom announced that Maika recently underwent successful surgery to repair an elbow injury.

Starrcast recently announced that Shotzi Blackheart will be making an appearance for the company at their Starrcast Texas event on July 11-12 in Arlington, Texas.
