Randy Orton Advances to 2025 King of the Ring Tournament Finals
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan featured one tournament match for this year’s King of the Ring Tournament.
This was a Semifinal Round match of Randy Orton defeating Sami Zayn.

As a result of his victory, Orton will be facing off against the winner of Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso in the Finals of this year’s King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2025.
Asuka Advances to 2025 Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one tournament match for this year’s Queen of the Ring Tournament.
This was a Semifinal Round match of Asuka defeating Alexa Bliss.

As a result of her victory, Asuka will be facing off against the winner of Jade Cargill/Roxanne Perez in the Finals of this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2025.
Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu for U.S. Title Set for WWE Night of Champions 2025
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of Night of Champions 2025, which takes place on June 28th at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This new match announced was a WWE United States Championship match of Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu (c).
This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Fatu’s bad blood issues with Sikoa leading to Fatu splitting from Sikoa and The Bloodline at Money in the Bank 2025. During tonight’s show, Sikoa came out to the ring and asked for Fatu to come back to the family. This led to Fatu coming out and after some back-and-forth banter, Fatu challenged Sikoa to a match for his title leading to a brawl breaking out between the two that involved JC Mateo and Jimmy Uso.

In a follow-up segment, Fatu stated that he had talked to “the man” and got a match between him and Sikoa for his United States title made official for Night of Champions 2025.
