Three King & Queen of the Ring Tournament Matches Announced for Friday’s WWE SmackDown Show

WWE announced three new matches for the card of tonight’s WWE SmackDown show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

The first new match announced was a King of the Ring Tournament First Round Fatal Four-way match of Damien Priest vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Andrade.

The second new match announced was a King of the Ring Tournament First Round Fatal Four-way match of Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes.

The third new match announced was a Queen of the Ring Tournament First Round Fatal Four-way match of Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green vs. Candice LeRae.

Current card for June 13th WWE SmackDown show:

  • King of the Ring Tournament First Round Fatal Four-way match – Damien Priest vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Andrade

Jey Uso Revealed as Mystery Entrant for King of the Ring Tournament

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Jey Uso is the mystery competitor for this year’s King of the Ring tournament.

Pearce stated that he saved the final spot for the tournament for the loser of this past Monday’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Uso.

Uso will be facing off against Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Rusev in a Fatal Four way-match in the First Round of this year’s tournament.


Kiana James Leg Injury Status & Return Plans Update

As noted before, Kiana James has been out of action for WWE since this past September due to a leg injury.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that James was seen in attendance backstage ahead of tonight’s WWE SmackDown show in Lexington, Kentucky.

It was reported that it is currently not known if James will be part of tonight’s show nor WWE officials’ current plans for her return from injury.
