Hangman Page Comments on Vowing to Win AEW World Title Without Help from Others
VICE held a recent interview with Hangman Adam Page. One of the topics discussed included Page’s thoughts about the potential of Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, or others coming out to help neutralize the Death Riders during his match against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at All In Texas.
“I made a promise to win the World Championship, and I made a promise not to need or accept help from him [Swerve Strickland] because I can’t — I couldn’t do that.”
Page also gave his thoughts about him dismissing the idea that he and Swerve Strickland are wrestling soulmates.
“No, no, no. I don’t, I don’t believe in that [fans calling them wrestling soulmates]. I don’t. I mean, you said it. He is someone who, to prove a point, broke into my home. He’s someone who threatened my family’s safety, who had nothing to do with any of it. You’re right, I found his childhood home. I burned it to ash, and I nearly killed him.
I mean, I thought about him, I did. Once I had done that, I kind of realized that the catharsis that I thought it would give me didn’t come. And I thought it would hit instantly; I would feel relief. I’d feel like it was done, and it just didn’t come at all. I kind of realized that I had spent two years chasing the wrong thing, I guess. He said quite a while ago that he had put it behind him, and I kind of had to make that decision as well to put it behind me to focus on something worthwhile, because the past two years had not been worthwhile.”
Tony Khan Comments on Potential of New Third Weekly AEW Show
WFAA held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about the potential of AEW adding a new weekly television show in the future.
“Great question there. I think we’ve done a great job in 2025, focusing now on the two primary AEW shows that we’re doing, which are Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision. Although in Garland next week, Saturday Night Collision is actually going to move to Thursday. We’ve had some great experiences doing these Collisions on Thursday nights. There’s always potential to expand the AEW programming calendar right now. Things have worked really well with Dynamite and Collision, but as we’re having a great year, it’s always something to consider. There’s definitely an opportunity to continue growing following the AEW media rights continuing to grow and develop new platforms for AEW. But certainly in 2025, right now, we’re feeling great about Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision as the primary TV shows today.”
Khan also gave his thoughts about him being unbothered by WWE’s counter-programming tactics and efforts ahead of AEW’s All In Texas event.
“Well, I think we’re going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world. So that’s a lot of fun. So we’re going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we’re very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that’s served us really well.”

Kenny Omega Clarifies Comments About Evolution of Wrestling Heading Towards Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast Headlining WrestleMania
A recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio featured Kenny Omega as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Omega clarifying comments he made earlier this year about his concerns that the evolution of wrestling is heading towards a Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast match headlining a WWE WrestleMania event in the future.
“Much like a wrestling analyst would view wrestling, I try to analyze and predict the trajectory of where things are headed. I took a little bit of heat for this, and I didn’t mean it in a negative way, but I said, ‘Hey, we’re kind of shifting towards an ADHD version of pro wrestling where it’s going to be TikTok clips and special guests and influencers that are going to garner most of the attention of pro wrestling.’ I don’t mean in just pro wrestling, it’s across the board. My interest in video games, TV shows, everyone kind of wants things compressed and they want to be able to digest it as quickly as possible and just get the gist of it right away. I don’t look at it as a positive or negative; it’s just evolution. That’s where society is headed.
I do think that, which is why I brought it up before, the way I approach a match in Japan would be much different than the way I would approach it here because I think it’s more of a Western philosophy to want to digest things as quick as possible. That’s just become the norm. I brought up Logan Paul, and I didn’t mean it in a negative context whatsoever when I said, ‘We could be looking at Logan Paul’ and I said Mr. Beast. That was in jest. I was just bringing up a name that has a homogeneous following and people would recognize immediately. With the amount of time that you have for preparation, I have no doubt in my mind that Logan Paul, with the creative minds behind the driving force of WWE, they would be able to put something together that was probably pretty entertaining. Is it going to be pro wrestling as the way we knew it and grew up? No, of course not, but if the fans like it and they are willing to buy it and they are selling it by the hundred thousands, then that’s just how history is going to dictate pro wrestling moves forward.”
