Kevin Knight Comments on His Belief AEW Tag Division is Still “Wide Open” for JetSpeed to Get Rematch with Hurt Syndicate for AEW World Tag Titles
This past Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event in Arlington, Texas featured The Hurt Syndicate defeating JetSpeed and The Patriarchy in a Three-way match to retain their AEW World Tag Team Championship.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey recently released a new vlog featuring Kevin Knight as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Knight’s thoughts about JetSpeed’s loss at AEW All In Texas and his belief that AEW’s Tag Team division is still “wide open” enough for them to get a rematch with the Hurt Syndicate for the titles in the future.
“Honestly, we didn’t lose that match. We didn’t get pinned. So I feel in good spirits because we gave them the fight. Christian and Nick (Wayne) is no longer a thing. So I think the tag division is still wide open for us to get a rematch at least.”

Preston Vance Comments on His Belief Brodie Lee Jr. Is Going to Have a Legit Career in Wrestling
As noted before, this past April’s GCW Joey Janela Clusterf*cuk Forever 2025 featured Brodie Lee Jr., also known as Negative 1 in AEW, make his official in-ring wrestling debut. This past Friday’s ROH Supercard of Honor 2025 event in Garland, Texas featured Lee Jr. making a surprise appearance and getting revenge at Preston Vance for his betrayal of the Dark Order.
A recent episode of Fightful’s The Spotlight podcast featured Preston Vance as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Vance’s thoughts about Lee Jr.’s in-ring debut at GCW’s event and his belief that Lee Jr. will have a legit career in pro wrestling in the future.
“I was like, ‘Holy shit.’ I was talking to [Brodie’s mom] Amanda (Huber) the following week at TV. Brodie stumbled on like one thing, who cares, he was so mad and embarassed. He wasn’t like a kid, ‘I just made my GCW debut and I’m this big deal.’ He was so hard on himself. I thought it was so funny. You’re 13 years old, who cares. I remember when he would come to QT’s school in Atlanta and it was shortly after Jon had passed. He had to be maybe 9 or 10 and he’s doing lionsaults onto a crashpad. Doing that, at that age, and I watch clips Amanda will post when he goes to TJ and Natalya’s school in Florida. It’s so crazy how he’s just getting it. He’s definitely going to get his dad’s height because every year for his birthday, it’s called Brodie Day, we all go to Disney, and this past year, he turned 13 and he’s a legit teenager. He’s tall and is a totally different person from when he was eight when I got to know him. I think he’s going to have a legit career in wrestling.”
