As noted before, Shayna Baszler recently has been working as a producer for WWE in a tryout role following her release from the company this past May.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources confirmed that Baszler is currently working as a producer in a tryout role for WWE’s NXT brand and provided additional details.
Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that the Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid match from this past Tuesday’s WWE NXT show was not the first match Baslzer helped produce in WWE and she has been helping produce matches for some time.
Meltzer also reported that Baszler is not back with WWE in a full-time role and the reason why she was brought back was due to it being something she is doing for the company while waiting for her 90-day non-compete clause to expire. Baszler’s non-compete clause reportedly is currently believed to expire on August 2nd.
