Bryan Danielson on Not Having Medical Clearance for Some of His Moves at AEW All In Texas & Him Not Being Back to In-Ring Wrestling

AEW’s All In Texas event earlier this month in Arlington, Texas featured Bryan Danielson making a surprise appearance. During the AEW World Championship Texas Death Match between Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley, Danielson came out to the ring in a Blue Panther mask and got physical with the Death Riders for the first time since his full-time retirement match at WrestleDream 2024 in October of 2024.

A recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast featured Danielson as the guest. One of the topics discussed was Danielson’s thoughts about him getting physical during his appearance at All In Texas and not being medically cleared for some of the moves he did.

Brie Garcia – “I need to know, were you supposed to do the moves you did?”

Bryan Danielson – “Well, some of them I had cleared, some of them I did not. But I was feeling it!”

Danielson also gave his thoughts about the reaction from AEW head doctor Michael Sampson over him doing a suicide dive to the Death Riders during his brawl with them during the match.

Brie – “I knew Doctor Sampson was going to be so upset.”

Danielson – “To be fair, he wasn’t upset.”

Brie: – “He just thought you were an idiot.”

Danielson – “He did think I was an idiot.”

Danielson also gave his thoughts about the speculation of him returning to the ring and that not being the case for him.

Brie – “I got all these text messages. People are like, ‘Is Bryan back?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, to my knowledge no, but we’ll see when I talk to him tonight.’”

Danielson – “No, I’m not back.”
