As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away on Thursday at the age of 71 due to a cardiac arrest.
The Hollywood Insider and Puck News’ Matthew Belloni reported that his sources stated that Netflix has been working on a new wrestling docuseries based on the late Hogan. Belloni reported that Hogan had died in mid-production of this new series which Netflix had quietly been working on since 2024.
Belloni reported that this new docuseries is being directed by Bryan Storkel and was being co-produced by Connor Schell’s Words + Pictures, WWE, and Hogan.
This new docuseries reportedly will be multiple episodes in length and inclde more than 20 hours of new interviews with Hogan that were shot prior to his passing.
This new upcoming docuseries reportedly is still planned to be released but no release date has been scheduled yet.
