Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials have yet to finalize the full card for their All In Texas event on July 12th in Arlington, Texas prior to Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Garland, Texas.
It was reported that their sources stated that AEW officials recently held discussions regarding having The Opps (Powerhouse Hobbs, Katsuyori Shibata, & Samoa Joe) defending their AEW World Trios Championship against some combination of the Death Riders.
It was also reported that the setup for this new potential match was planned to take shape during the Samoa Joe vs. Wheeler Yuta match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show.
It was also reported that it is currently not known if PAC or HOOK have been cleared to compete for this potential new match.
In a separate report, Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials also originally had plans for Jamie Hayter to compete at their All In Texas event prior to her injury at this past May’s Double or Nothing 2025 event.
It was reported that Hayter’s injury had disrupted AEW officials creative plans for Thekla’s debut in the company. AEW officials reportedly had hoped to launch the storyline angle once Hayter was ready but temporarily shelved those plans instead due to her recovery taking longer than expected.
It was also reported that despite the change in creative direction for Thekla, AEW officials currently still intends to revisit their original storyline plans once Hayter is medically cleared to compete.
