Myron Reed Replaces Trey Miguel for TNA Tag Titles Ladder Match
Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York featured the official announcement of Trey Miguel being pulled from the event due to his hernia injury situation.
During the show, an injury report video aired stating that Miguel has not been medically cleared to compete for tonight’s show. Tom Hannifan announced that Myron Reed would be replacing Miguel for Zachary Wentz’s tag partner for the TNA World Tag Team Championship Four-way Ladder match on the show.

Jacy Jayne Wins TNA Knockouts World Title & Retains WWE NXT Women’s Title
Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event also featured Jacy Jayne defeating Masha Slamovich in a Title vs. Title Winner Takes All match to become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion.
Jayne also retained her WWE NXT Women’s Championship as a result of her victory.

This was Jayne’s first ever TNA Knockouts World Championship victory in her wrestling career. Jayne also became the first wrestler in TNA and WWE history to hold both the TNA Knockouts World and NXT Women’s titles at the same time.
TNA Announces New All-Time Attendance Record for TNA Event in North American
Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event also featured the announcement of this year’s event having an official attendance of 7,623.
Tom Hannifan announced that this year’s event has set the new all-time record for largest attendance for a TNA event in North America in company history.

This was Slater’s first ever X-Division Championship victory in his TNA career. Slater also set a new all-time record for being the youngest ever to win the X-Division title in TNA history.
AJ Styles Makes TNA Return Appearance at Slammiversary 2025
Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event also featured AJ Styles making his return appearance to TNA.
Following the TNA X-Division Championship match, Styles’ music played and he came out to the ring to a roaring ovation from the crowd.

Styles talked about how it’s good to be back in the place where he made his name. Styles then gave more praise of TNA and then praised Slater for becoming the youngest ever X-Division Champion in history tonight. Styles then gave some more words of praise to Slater and talked about how TNA isn’t about weight limits, it’s about no limits and gave a shout out to Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, and Frankie Kazarian as some of the names he shared the ring with during his days in the X-Division. Styles then congratulated Slater again for becoming the youngest X-Division Champion ever and shook his hands.

Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event also featured The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeating FIR$T CLA$$ (KC Navarro & AJ Francis), The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz), and The Nemeths (Ryan & Nic Nemeth) to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions.

Following the match, The Hardys victory celebration was cut short by Bully Ray’s music playing to interupt. Ray made his way to the ring and first congratulated The Hardys for regaining the TNA World Tag titles. Ray then talked about The Hardys and Team 3D’s storied histories in wrestling. Ray then issued a challenge to The Hardys for a match one last time between them and for the TNA World Tag titles at this October’s Bound For Glory 2025 event.

TNA Bound For Glory 2025 Date & Location Announced
Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event also featured the announcement of this year’s Bound For Glory event taking place on October 12th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
It was announced that tickets for this upcoming event will officially go on sale starting on July 30th for the pre-sale and August 1st for the general public.
