WrestleVote Radio reported that their sources stated that WWE has currently scheduled for this year’s NXT Heatwave 2025 event to take place on August 24th in South Carolina.
It was reported that the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium is the rumored location for this upcoming event.
This is the same date as AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s co-promoted Forbidden Door 2025 event in London, England.
This would be the third NXT event that WWE would have scheduled to go directly against an AEW event this year, following Battleground 2025 event going against AEW’s Double or Nothing 2025 on May 25th and the upcoming Great American Bash 2025 event going against AEW’s All In Texas event on July 12th.
