Two New Stips Set for WWE Women’s IC Title Match at SummerSlam 2025
Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one newly updated match for the card of SummerSlam 2025.
This newly updated match was a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship No Count Outs, No DQs match of Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch (c). This new match also featured another new stipulation of if Valkyria loses, then she can never challenge for the title again while Lynch is champion.
This newly updated match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Lynch and Valkyria. Lynch came out to the ring and after some words about the wanting the crowd to put appreciation on her name and not boo her and how she wished she was in New York at the premiere of her new movie, Happy Gilmore 2, Lynch talked about her victory at Evolution 2 and proceeded to insult Valkyria. Lynch then called for Valkyria to come out to the ring, which Valkyria did. Lynch then issued a new stipulation of if she wins, then Valkyria can never challenge for the title again while she is still champion. Valkyria responded accepting but only on the condition that their match be held under No Countouts and No DQs rules and there must be a winner. Lynch responded reluctantly agreeing to the terms to make it official.
