LA Knight WWE Contract Update
This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Kansas City, Missouri featured Logan Paul defeating LA Knight in the main event after getting help from a mystery masked person who has been helping out The Vision lately. Following the match, Knight was attacked by The Vision that ended with a show closing angle of “Big” Bronson Reed hitting a Tsunami onto the roof of a car backstage. This quickly led to online speculation of Knight’s contract status with WWE and him being written off for some unknown reasons.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Knight isn’t going anywhere in regards to a potential departure from WWE. It was reported that Knight had signed a new contract with WWE last year that still had a number of years left on his deal.
Those spoken to within WWE reportedly stated that they were “confused” over the reaction online to the show closing beatdown segment. Those same sources reportedly also stated that it was a story moment that will be revisited.
Those spoken to reportedly also denied rumors of Knight facing any heat or punishment over him holding up a fan sign on the October 27th episode of WWE RAW that read “We Want LA Knight, Not Jey.” One person in creative reportedly stated that it would be a “weird punishment” to book Knight to beat Uso in that moment.
