Three Wrestlers Advance from A Block in NJPW G1 Climax 2025

Sunday’s NJPW G1 Climax 2025 Night 15 event in Takasaki, Japan, featured three wrestlers advancing from A Block to the Playoffs round in this year’s G1 Climax tournament.

These three wrestlers were EVIL, David Finlay, and Yota Tsuji. EVIL won the group with 12 points while Finlay and Tsuji both advanced with 10 points each and held the tiebreakers over Yuya Uemura and Boltin Oleg who had also ended up at 10 points each.

Finlay will be facing off against the B Block 3rd place competitor while Tsuji will be facing off against the A Block 2nd place competitor in the First Round Playoff matches at the August 14th event.

Mercedes Mone & Nixon Newell Makes Appearance at Athena’s August 9th MXP Event

Saturday’s Who Runs The World? event for Athena’s Metroplex Wrestling in Bedford, Texas featured Mercedes Mone and Nixon Newell making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Athena came out to the ring to talk about the show. This led to Mone making a surprise appearance and came out to the ring to join Athena. Athena and Mone proceeded to talk about the importance of the all-women’s event and the two performed Mone’s CEO dance in the ring together.

Following Abadon’s victory over Reiza Clarke to become the new MPX Women’s Champion in the main event of the show, Newell, former Tegan Nox in WWE, made a surprise appearance and came out to the ring. Newell confronted Abadon and indicated that she was coming after Abadon’s newly won title.

Kacy Catanzaro Announces Return to American Ninja Warrior

Former WWE talent Kacy Catanzaro, also formerly known as Katana Chance, announced earlier today on Twiter that she will be returning to American Ninja Warrior reality competition television series.

In a teaser clip for this Monday’s show on NBC and Peacock, Catanzaro was shown in a hosting or panel member role and stated“I’m all giddy and excited, I cannot wait.“
