Trish Stratus Pulls Out of Her Scheduled Booking for Comic Con Wales Due to Family-related Reasons
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently announced on Twitter that she will be unable to make her scheduled appearance for this weekend’s Comic Con Wales 2025 event in the United Kingdom due to family-related reasons.
“Hi everyone, it breaks my heart to share that I won’t be able to attend the autograph signing in Wales this weekend. My mom needs me by her side right now, and with the distance involved, the travel is simply too far. If anything were to happen, I’d be too far away to get back quickly and that’s not a risk I can take at this time.
To those who bought tickets – I’m so sorry to disappoint you. I promise I will come back to Wales and we will meet another time! I’m truly sorry to disappoint anyone, please know I never take your support for granted, and it means the world to me.
I’m aware I have several upcoming appearances scheduled on the #Trish25 Tour and as of now, those are still planned. I’m working on putting the right support in place at home to allow me to step away when needed – but for this particular event, I had to make the difficult decision to stay close to home.
Thank you so much for your understanding and compassion. Your prayers and positive energy for my mom mean everything right now.”

Former WWE wrestler Rockin’ Robin was recently involved in a fall incident at her home resulting in her suffering a broken leg injury. Robin provided an update on Wednesday on Facebook stating “Thank you, everyone, for your concerns but all is ok. I took a bad step down from a ladder which would have likely been no big deal 5 or 10 years ago (lol) but, at nearly 61 yrs. old – and with no shoes on, it took a pretty ugly turn. I basically broke my right foot heel in half! (Yes, the pain is excruciating – I don’t recommend it) I had never missed an event I was booked at in my life but this is why I didn’t/couldn’t make it to Charlotte – and my apologies to you guys who were kind enough to want to come see me. (But, I’m already confirmed for next year so please give it one more try!) I just want to thank everybody for your concerns, prayers and well wishes….and let my friends know I’ll be totally off of my feet for the next 3 months at least. Swelling is the immediate issue. Please keep the prayers coming though, and I’ll do the same! Thanks again and I’m sorry to have startled anyone. Just another one of life’s curve balls – I just used to be able to hit a curve, not “get hit” by them so much.“
