Kenny Omega Responds to Report of Him Taking Time Off & To Miss All Out 2025
As noted before, Kenny Omega will be taking a break from AEW for non-injury related reasons. This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured the Don Callis Family attacking Omega and Omega being stretchered out as AEW’s way of writing him out for the time being.
Omega responded on Thursday on Twitter about the report from Fightful Select who had reported that Omega would be taking some time off from AEW and would miss their upcoming All Out 2025 event as a result.
“Time off?
Specialized hospital visits and work that had been planned for a year, but sure, let’s bait the trolls.
I’m just trying to improve what I can and represent the company in a positive way while not performing.
Don’t be misleading with headlines, please and thank you.”

Britt Baker AEW Absence Update
Britt Baker has been absent from AEW since November of 2024.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Baker is willing to return to AEW and has always kept herself in shape to be ready for a comeback to the company.
Sapp reported that if AEW has five women’s titles across ROH and AEW, he believes that the correct move would be to bring her back. Sapp also reported that Baker’s time away from AEW has benefited all sides of the working relationship.
Baker reportedly has over a year left on her current contract and Sapp speculated that it might be the best time to bring her back.
