SportsBusiness held a recent interview with WWE President Nick Khan at a recent IMG x RedBird Summit event.
One of the topics discussed included Khan revealing that Italy will be hosting a WWE Premium Live Event in 2026 to coincide with the country joining Netflix’s streaming deal with WWE.
Khan also gave his thoughts about the large amount of WWE PLEs that now take place outside of the United States.
“Almost half of our Premium Live Events take place outside of the United States now. We believe WWE is a global property, we believe the results on these shows, both in terms of attendance and viewership (locally and globally) have been significant. We have seen year-over-year increases for viewership on each one.”
