As noted before, Ozawa suffered an ankle injury at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 Victory 2025 Night 1 event on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. Ozawa’s status for the remainder of this year’s N-1 Victory tournament was in doubt at the time.
NOAH provided an update earlier today announcing that they have pulled Ozawa from the remainder of this year’s tournament due to him suffering a Lisfranc ligament injury in his left foot.
It was also announced that Ozawa will be forfeiting the remainder of his B Block tournament matches and his opponents to automatically receive two group points each as a result.
NOAH’s official statement:
“[Injury Update]
OZAWA sustained a left foot injury during the 9/8 Korakuen Hall event and has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc ligament tear. As a result, he will be out of action for the time being.
Accordingly, all of his remaining matches in N-1 VICTORY 2025 will be ruled as forfeits.
We sincerely appreciate the understanding of our fans and all concerned parties.
