As noted before, Will Ospreay is currently dealing with a neck injury that will require him to undergo surgery at some point. Ospreay was involved in a stretcher angle following the Lights Out Steel Cage post-match attack by the Death Riders at this past August’s Forbidden Door 2025 event in London, England as AEW’s way of writing him out for his abscense.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Ospreay is currently scheduled to undergo surgery to repair two herniated discs in his neck in a few weeks.
A potential timetable for Ospreay’s return is currently not known.
