Andrade El Idolo Makes Surprise Return & Joins Don Callis Family

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary show at the Hard Rock Live At Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida featured Andrade El Idolo making his surprise return to AEW.

Following Kenny Omega & Brodido’s (Brody King & Bandido) victory over Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), the Bucks got back into the ring and had a staredown with Omega teasing a potential Elite reunion. Any chance of an Elite reunion was cut off by Alexander who attacked Omega as the Bucks stood by watching. This led to Jurassic Express’ music playing and them running out and confronted the Young Bucks. Omega argued with Jack Perry over their past history and Perry responded by attacking the Young Bucks. This led to the Bucks being chased to the back by Jurassic Express. Omega then grabbed a microphone and gave a speech thanking everyone who has supported AEW and AEW Dynamite over the past six years. After Omega finished, the lights went off and when it came back on, a mystery masked buff person was standing in the ring next to Omega. This mystery person took off their mask revealing himself to be Andrade, who is now sporting long hair. Andrade proceeded to attack Omega laying him out as Don Callis entered the ring.

Andrade and Callis shook hands revealing Andrade as the newest member of the Don Callis Family. After Omega managed to recover, he went after Callis who ran away leading to Andrade laying Omega out with a kick to the head before leaving.

Evil Hologram (El Clon) Appears & Joins Callis Family

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured evil Hologram making a surprise appearance and joining the Don Callis Family.

Near the end of the TNT Championship match between Orange Cassidy and Kyle Fletcher, Don Callis got on the apron to interfere leading to Hologram coming out but looking a bit different than usual. Hologram got onto the apron to confront Callis and while the referee was still distracted, Hologram crotched Cassidy on the top rope leading to Fletcher hitting his top rope brainbuster for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Fletcher attacked Cassidy as Hologram looked on at first and then joined in on the attack. This led to Paragon running out to save Cassidy and chased Hologram and Fletcher out of the ring. Fletcher, Hologram, and Callis regrouped on the stage as the rest of the Don Callis Family came out. This led to Hologram taking off his mask and ripping off his gear revealing himself to be Clon, the evil clone of Hologram, and the newest member of the Callis Family.
