Private Party AEW Abscense & Contracts Status Update
As noted before, Private Party’s Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy’s contracts with AEW are currently expected to be expiring at some point soon. Private Party have been absent for AEW since losing the AEW World Tag Team Championship to The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) this past January.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Quen and Kassidy are still under contract with AEW. Quen and Kassidy’s contracts had been believed to be expiring this past summer but that does not appear to have been the case.
Those spoken to reportedly implied that Quen and Kassidy’s contracts might actually be expiring at different times due to injury time being added. It was reported that it is currently not known if Quen and Kassidy currently prefer to stay with AEW or leave the company once their contracts expire.
It was also reported that it is currently not known when Quen and Kassidy will be making a return to AEW programming.
