Andrade El Idolo recently held a Q&A session on Instagram. One of the topics discussed included Andrade’s thoughts about him teaming up with Rey Fenix on WWE’s SmackDown brand before his release from the company.
“This dude brought out my angel. When we were wrestling, we were always chatting about stories and where we’d go eat after. We were always chill and brainstorming new ideas. We became great bros.“
Andrade also gave his thoughts about his choices for his top five dream opponents and ended up listing seven wrestlers after it being tough for him to decide on just five.
“Hulk Hogan, Eddie Guerrero, Ric Flair, Will Ospreay, Roman, El Santo, Inoki”
Andrade also gave his thoughts about if he is friends with Mistico and stated that he is friends with multiple people who have portrayed the character.
“I’ve been friends with the previous Místico (@cintadeoro) — we built a great friendship in WWE, and he helped me get to SmackDown.
I’m friends with the original Místico, the first Sin Cara (@caristico_official). He was my mentor in the Gran Alternativa tournament and supported me early on when I was LA SOMBRA in CMLL.
I’m also friends with Místico 2, now DRALÍSTICO (@dralisticooficial). We have a great friendship — he’s like a brother.
I’ve had great adventures with all three of them. Great people.”
Andrade also gave his thoughts about how how hard Ultimo Guerrero hits for his chops during matches.
“It depends! Sometimes it’s like an 8, and when he’s mad it’s almost a 9. Other times it’s a 7.
He hits hard”
Andrade also gave his thoughts about why he doesn’t wear a mask anymore for his matches.
“Because I’m handsome! Just kidding, it’s heavy!!”
