Friday’s CMLL Super Viernes event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Bandido defeating Hechicero to retain the ROH World Championship.
Bandido announced on Instagram that he had suffered a shoulder injury during his match. Bandido stated that his shoulder had popped out and back into place during the match and posted a photo of his arm in a sling.
“My apologies to the CMLL Fanbase. My shoulder popped out and popped back into place. Thank you Hechicero for always being a Gentleman. We owe a third one to our Mexican Fanbase.”

It is currently not known if Bandido will be out of action for any time due to his injury situation.
