Dave Meltzer had reported in last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE was expected to be holding next year’s Elimination Chamber event on February 28, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that his sources confirmed that next year’s Elimination Chamber event will be taking place on that exact date and city.
Thurston reported that the host venue for next year’s event is currently not known.
Both Meltzer and Thurston speculated that the event might be taking place at the Allstate Arena due to that venue usually being WWE’s choice to hold their events in the city.
This will be WWE’s first Premium Live Event in Chicago since Survivor Series WarGames 2024 in November of 2024 that featured CM Punk making his surprise return to WWE. This will also be the first time that WWE will be holding an Elimination Chamber event in the United States since 2021.
