Shinsuke Nakamura & Tama Tonga Make Surprise Returns
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia featured Shinsuke Nakamura and Tama Tonga making their surprise returns.
Prior to the start of the WWE United States Championship Open Challenge match, Sami Zayn came out to the ring and waited for who would be his mystery opponent for this week’s open challenge match. This led to Nakamura’s music playing and him making his surprise return answering the challenge.

This match ended being ruled a no contest after a mysterious hooded masked person showed up and pulled Nakamura out of the ring and threw him over the barricade. This mysterious person then took off their hood revealing himself to be Tama Tonga. This led to Solo Sikoa and the rest of the MFTs showing up and attacked Zayn resulting in the match being thrown out.

This was Nakamura’s first appearance since this past July and Tonga’s first appearance since this past April due to an undisclosed injury.
Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair Accepts ZaRuca’s Challenge for WWE Women’s Tag Titles
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair accepting ZaRuca’s (Zaria & Sol Ruca) challenge for their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
During the show, Bliss and Flair confronted ZaRuca backstage and told them that they were impressed with their tag team victory last week but they didn’t think ZaRuca was ready for a title shot yet. Zaria responded telling Bliss & Flair to prove that they are not ready yet. Bliss responded agreeing to give ZaRuca a shot at their titles at a future show.

Zelina Vega Turns Heel & Aligns with Aleister Black
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Zelina Vega turning heel and aligning with her real life husband Aleister Black.
Near the end of the Last Man Standing match between Black and Damian Priest, Vega showed up and interfered by getting in between Black and Priest stop the two from fighting briefly. This led to Priest getting distracted long enough for Black to throw a fireball at Priest’s face and hit a Black Mass knocking Priest off the production equipment and through a table. This led to Priest not getting back up in time to beat the 10 count and Black winning by knockout. After the match, Black and Vega embraced each other.
