Nick Khan on WrestleMania 43 Is Still Scheduled for Saudi Arabia, WWE’s Decisions Are Driven By “Ratings, Revenue, and Relevancy”, & WrestleMania 42’s Expensive Ticket Prices

Sports Business Journal held their CAA World Congress of Sports 2026 business conference on April 14-16 in Los Angeles, California. Among the guest speakers was WWE President Nick Khan.

One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about WWE’s WrestleMania 43 event in 2027 is still scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.

“We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi. First time ever, WrestleMania will be outside the United States or Canada, and we’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them…”

Khan also gave his thoughts about how WWE has taken their Premium Live Events outside of North America more often than before.

“When we go, it doesn’t have to be only here. Our fans will tune in… no matter where we go.”

Khan also gave his thoughts about the negative criticisms from fans and others about WWE hosting their events in Saudi Arabia stating that those individuals are a “vocal minority.” Khan also stated that the company’s decisions are driven by “ratings, revenue, and relevancy.”

Khan also gave his thoughts about WWE’s high ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada and the company currently expects to break the record that was set at WrestleMania 41.

“We’re feeling good. Last year we set records, which we set the year prior to that. So this year we think it’s going to get close to that record, but fingers crossed…

The marketplace dictates the ticket price.”

Khan also gave his thoughts about how even lower-priced tickets can quickly be resold at higher rates and underscoring continued consumer demand for events.
