As noted before, Steven Borden, son of WWE Hall of famer and former AEW wrestler Sting, made his official pro wrestling in-ring debut this past October at a wrestling art exhibit month co-hosted by Darby Allin in New York City, New York. Borden had teamed up with JD Drake in a tag team match against Darby Allin & Killer Kross, which was won by Allin & Kross.
Fightful Selecy reported that Borden is currently set to compete for DEFY Wrestling at their DEFY AEON event on November 21st in Seattle, Washington.
This will be Borden’s first official match for an independent wrestling company for his pro wrestling career.
It was reported that Borden is scheduled to face off against Kiran Grey, a trainee of Darby Allin, in a singles match at the event.
Besides his debut match for Allin’s wrestling art exhibit event, Borden also had made an appearance for his father Sting’s retirement match at AEW’s Revolution 2024 event in March of 2024. Borden was dressed up as Wolfpak Sting for his father’s entrance for his AEW World Tag Team Championship match with Allin against The Young Bucks on the show.
