AEW: Samantha Irvin on Potentially Managing Ricochet in AEW, Juice Robinson Announced To Not Be Medically Cleared To Compete, New Trademark Filed, TNT Title Open Challenge Match Set for 1/31 AEW Collision Show

Samantha Irvin Comments on Potentially Managing Ricochet in AEW

As noted before, Samantha Irvin departed from WWE in October of 2024 over issues related to Irvin’s outside music projects and Irvin wanting to do more than just be a ring announcer in the company. Irvin revealed this past October that her non-compete clause with WWE was for two years in length.

In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, Irvin gave her thoughts about her potentially working as a manager for her husband Ricochet in AEW once her non-compete expires. This fan stated “The Ricochet return and push with you as the manager is going to be so sick.” Irvin responded stating “I would be a bad manager if I advised him to return. But us together will be historic, I do believe that 🙏🏽

Irvin also responded to comments from a fan who claimed that she could have been a legendary ring announcer but walked away from her job in WWE. This fan stated “Samantha Irvin could’ve been legendary but she walked away from the WWE gig.. I don’t get it.” Irvin responded stating “Samantha Irvin is legendary! Without the opportunity for it to get stale, or annoying, or overdone… because it has concluded and is preserved in a beautiful era we can always look back on 🙌🏽

Irvin also confirmed that she currently has plans to become a manager once she returns to wrestling in the future.

Juice Robinson Announced To Not Be Medically Cleared To Compete

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured AEW commentator Excalibur announcing that Juice Robinson is currently not medically cleared to compete.

No other details were given regarding Robinson’s current abscense and health situation.

Besides Robinson, it was announced that Ace Austin was also absent from the show due to travel-related issues caused by the current severe winter storm impacting most of the United States since this past week.
