Maki Itoh Revealed as Mystery Person Teaser & Signs with Stardom

Stardom has been airing cryptic videos teasing the arrival of a new mystery person during their shows in recent weeks. The most recent video featured a shadowy outline of a wrestler that quickly lead to online speculation of this person being indies and former TJPW talent Maki Itoh.

Stardom’s 15th Anniversary New Years Stars 2026 event earlier today at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan featured another new cryptic video airing that included a countdown to the mystery person’s reveal. This mystery person was confirmed to be Itoh, who came out to the ring followed by Stardom President Taro Okada. It was announced that Itoh had signed an official contract with the company.

Itoh gave a speech to the crowd and held up her official contract with Stardom.

“After 9 years of professional wrestling, this is the first time I’ll be doing it as a part of this organization. I will be joining STARDOM. Nice to meet you!”
