This past Saturday’s TNA Genesis 2026 event featured Joe Hendry defeating Moose and Cedric Alexander in a Three-way match. This match was notable for Moose suffering an apparent back injury after being tossed back-first into the steel steps resulting in Moose needing medical assistance but he was able to finish the match.

Moose provided an update on Tuesday on Twitter confirming that he had suffered a serious back injury but he should be okay enough to work at this Thursday’s TNA Impact! show in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“For those who watched TNA Genesis I did suffer a serious injury. From the bottom of my heart I want to sincerely thank everyone for all their concern and get well soon wishes. My back is super stiff still at the moment but I should be ok for @ThisIsTNA AMC live in Albuquerque”
