The second season of the WWE: Unreal docuseries was released earlier today on Netflix.
The final episode of the second season featured the announcement that the series has been renewed for a third season. It was also announced that this new upcoming season will premiere this summer and teased that John Cena’s retirement tour in 2025 will be a heavy focus for it.
In the teaser for the new upcoming season, clips were shown of Brock Lesnar attacking Cena to setup their match at this past September’s Wrestlepalooza event and WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque telling WWE’s writers’ room that the most important thing for the December 13, 2025 episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event was making sure everything was perfect for Cena. As well as a clip of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes being shown in the ring with Cena following Cena’s retirement match.
