As noted before, Pat McAfee has been mostly absent from WWE since this past June with the exception of this past September’s Wrestlepalooza event due to reasons related to him feeling “exhausted” and his commitments with ESPN for the recent College Football season.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources states that McAfee is currently expected to make his return to WWE soon.
It was reported that it is currently not known what capacity or schedule McAfee will be returning for his resumption of his work with WWE.
A specific date for McAfee’s return was also not given but it is expected to be “sooner rather than later.” McAfee could potentially make his return as early as this Saturday’s Royal Rumble event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
