New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that IWGP Women’s and NJPW STRONG Women’s Champions Syuri, Tomohiro Ishii, Boltin Oleg, and El Desperado will be making an appearance for the company at their The New Beginning USA 2026 event, which takes place on February 27th at the CURE Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.
Four more names set for New Beginning in New Jersey! 【NJoA】
Syuri, Ishii, Boltin, Desperado join the mix
Following the big announcement Friday that Yota Tsuji would be in action on Friday February 27 at New Beginning USA, as well as an NJPW World TV title match for El Phantasmo and Konosuke Takeshita, more names have been added to the lineup for our Trenton New Jersey debut
Firstly, joining a fellow double champion in Tsuji, IWGP Women’s and STRONG Women’s double champion Syuri hits Trenton. The Different Breed of Woman managed to shock Saya Kamitani in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 20 to retain her IWGP gold and add the STRONG belt to her collection. Now she seeks competition Stateside!
Making his American debut, Boltin Oleg hits New Beginning USA. The Big Man From Kazakhstan is sure to make an impact on the New Beginning USA card, and all eyes are sure to be on the former NEVER Openweight Champion.
Another former NEVER Champion and current STRONG title holder Tomohiro Ishii will be in Trenton. Ishii’s last match for NJPW in the US saw him retain his belt against Drilla Moloney in California; what fight will the Stone Pitbull look to pick in Trenton?
Finally, El Desperado will be looking to bring more gold to Trenton if he can put down DOUKI next week for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Desperado is sure to bring his brand of chaos to the CURE Arena February 27!
Current card for NJPW The New Beginning USA 2026:

- IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion and IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji to appear
- IWGP Women’s Champion and NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Syuri to appear
- Tomohiro Ishii, Boltin Oleg, and El Desperado to appear
