As noted before, former TNA group The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, & Dezmond Xavier) recently signed official contracts with AEW. The Rascalz made their official on-screen AEW debut appearance at Saturday’s taped AEW Collision Maximum Carnage 2026 show. This debut appearance was notable for Miguel being absent from the group.
Miguel provided an update earlier today on Instagram announcing that he is currently taking a break from wrestling for the reason for his abscense at this past week’s taped AEW Collision show.
“Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don’t tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still..”
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that while Miguel had been originally signed to a contract, he has recently been released from his contract with AEW.
It was reported that the reason for Miguel stepping away from wrestling is currently not known but he remains on amicable terms with AEW.
