Trey Miguel Reflects on His TNA Return at Jan. 22nd TNA Impact! Show

As noted before, Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show in Albuquerque, New Mexico featured Trey Miguel making his surprise return to TNA Wrestling.

Miguel reflected earlier today on Twitter about his recent return to TNA and his original plans to step away from wrestling for some time.

“I planned to step away from wrestling after the week I went through. It was really hard on me mentally and emotionally. I didn’t think I could do it anymore. Thank you to everyone who had my back, especially @ThisIsTNA. It was hard not to quit. But we can’t give up. Thank you God”

Prior to his return to TNA, Miguel was released from AEW earlier this week due to issues believed to be related to past controversial tweets he made in 2020 and Warner Bros Discovery being the one who made the decision for AEW to release him.

Jonathan Gresham Comments on Him Feeling “100 Percent” Fine & Ready For In-Ring Return After Suffering Two Strokes in 2025

As noted before, former TNA talent Jonathan Gresham has been on a break from wrestling since this past August due to him suffering two strokes. Gresham had fully recovered from his strokes and was cleared to make his return to the ring. Gresham is set to make his in-ring return for Beyond Wrestling’s Wildest Dreams event tonight in Sommerville, Massachusetts.

The Undisputed held a recent interview with Gresham. One of the topics discussed included Gresham’s thoughts about his recovery from his strokes and him being “100 percent” ready to make his in-ring return.

“Everybody already knows I had two strokes. They were Covid-related strokes. Now I’m fully ready to go. I’m 100 percent and I’m off to the races.”

Gresham also gave his thoughts about his praise of Beyond Wrestling for giving him the opportunity to return to the ring and the importance Beyond has had on his wrestling career.

“Around that time, my [now] wife and I had moved to York, Pennsylvania. Before the move, I was about to quit wrestling. That’s when I spoke with Drew, who told me he was going to give me a whole new platform. Beyond went above and beyond to give me a platform, and those matches with Sabre cemented me as an up-and-comer. It all goes back to that conversation with Drew. In a roundabout way, Beyond is the reason I’m still wrestling today.

Beyond did so much for me. It gave me a platform to show the world what I could do. It’s only fitting to come back and give young individuals the opportunity to wrestle people more experienced than them on a big stage.” ”
