Rikishi Comments on Its Become “Very Difficult” for Fans To Buy WWE Tickets for Shows Due To Price Increases

A recent episode of the Off The Top podcast featured co-host and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi giving his thoughts about him no longer being able to receive WWE comp tickets in the TKO era and how it has become “very difficult” for fans to buy tickets to WWE shows due to price increases caused by WWE’s parent company TKO Group.

“I don’t know about the ticket prices with TKO because even my family members now, they will usually call me for tickets but it’s too difficult now. There’s a lot of loopholes you have to go through and blah blah blah. Even though I’m not with the company full, I’m still in the legends contract with WWE.

So you know, you would think that family members and friends, close friends, you’d still have those comp tickets, but there is no comp tickets. I can probably try to get them discounted, but I don’t know what’s discounted nowadays. Like a $1000 ticket for a family of five and a man working nine to five through the whole week and the family loves wrestling. It’s very difficult to be able to take a family to events.

Back in the day for us man, we had tickets that were $25 or $50. I don’t know, front row seats were $75 or something like that. Now boy, you really need to hit the lottery to sit up in the nosebleeds,”

John Cena Comments on Lack of The Rock & Travis Scott For His Heel Run

A recent Fan Expo New Orleans event in New Orleans, Louisiana featured a Q&A panel featuring former WWE wrestler John Cena as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cena’s thoughts about what his choice would be if he could replace any match on his retirement tour with a dream match and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Travis Scott not being around for his heel run.

“There’s a perspective out there that I will dodge questions like that, so I will lean into that. I will lean into why I say what I like to say. I just don’t think like that. If I were to say, ‘Oh man, I wish after I turned heel that The Rock and Travis Scott were on my team.’ That would be pretty cool, right? Yeah, they’re crazy megastars and having them would be pretty cool, but we didn’t. That’s what happened …

Yes, the Rock and Travis Scott probably would have been great. Who knows? It didn’t happen. What I got in return, instead of wishing in some fantasy element that I can’t control, what I got in return was magic and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.”
