Young Bucks Advance To AEW Tag Titles #1 Contender 3-Way Match

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeating GOA (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) to advance to the AEW World Tag Team Championship Three-way match at next week’s AEW Dynamite show.


Kris Statlander Reveals Strap Stip for AEW Women’s Title Match

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Kris Statlander revealing the official stipulation for her AEW Women’s World Championship match against Thekla at next week’s AEW Dynamite show.

During the show, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander came out to the ring for an interview with Renee Paquette. Before Statlander could say anything, Thekla appeared in the ring and laid out Statlander with a spear. Triangle of Madness’ Julia Hart and Skye Blue came out to the ring and held Statlander as Thekla whipped her with a strap while trash talking.

As the Triangle of Madness were leaving to the back, Statlander grabbed the microphone and proceeded to insult Thekla and revealed that their match will be held as a strap match.


Leila Grey Makes Surprise Appearance

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Leila Grey making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Grey and Christopher Daniels came out alongside Scorpio Sky on the stage for Sky’s match against Kevin Knight. Grey was seen sporting a knee brace and made her way to the back as Daniels continued walking to the ring with Sky.

This was Grey’s first appearance since this past December due to a torn ACL injury.


HOOK Says He’s Acting Boss of The Opps

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured HOOK providing an update on the status of The Opps and Samoa Joe’s injury.

During the show, a video played featuring HOOK standing outside all alone. HOOK talked about The Opps’ recent misfortunes and confirmed that Joe will be out for a while due to an injury. HOOK then announced that he has been named as the new acting boss of The Opps while Joe is sidelined.


Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor Reveals Their Team Name

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor revealing that their official name as a tag team is “The Brawling Birds.”

This was revealed during a vignette segment featuring Hayter and Windsor seated in a bar enjoying a couple of drinks and a friendly chat that was briefly interrupted by a random man who was quickly taken out by them.


Current Card for Next Week’s Dynamite Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured one new match and two newly updated matches announced for the card of next week’s Dynamite show on February 11th at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a TNT Championship match of Kyle Fletcher vs. Tommaso Ciampa (c). This new match was setup following Ciampa retaining his title in a Three-way match against Roderick Strong and Claudio Castagnoli and Fletcher coming out issuing a challenge, which Ciampa accepted. It was announced that this match was made official for next week’s show.
