“F*ck ICE” Chants Break Out at 2/4 AEW Dynamite Show, Bryce Remsburg Reveals He Delayed Bell Ring for Brody King vs. MJF Match To Prolong Chant

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Brody King defeating MJF in an AEW World Championship Eliminator match.

This match was notable for being very brief in time after MJF got distracted by Hangman Adam Page and for loud “Fuck ICE” chants by the crowd before the start of the match.

In response to a post from Fightful about the chants on Twitter, match referee Bryce Remsburg revealed that he delayed the ringing of the bell to start the match to encourage and prolong the anti-ICE chants from the crowd at the show.

“It seems like the referee may have waited to ring the bell so these could resonate longer? Oh no. Whoops.”

Brody King previously wore an “Abolish ICE” shirt at this past June’s Grand Slam Mexico event in Mexico City, Mexico. King has also been outspoken on social media about his issues with ICE and their controversial actions towards American citizens and immigrants in recent months.

King most recently partnered with Headlocked Comics and Daniel Warren Johnson for a fundraiser raising over $58,000 to help families affected by the recent ICE raids in Minnesota.
