Fred Ottman Has Been Hospitalized For Past 30 Days Due to His Gallbladder “Exploded” & Serious Infection Issues

WWE Hall of Famer Fred Ottman, also known as Typhoon, announced earlier today on Instagram that he has been hospitalized for the past 30 days due to a serious health issue.

Ottman stated that his gallbladder had “exploded” inside of him causing him to deal with serious infection issues. Ottman stated that he is hopeful to be discharged soon.

Ottman also stated that he will be undergoing surgery on February 23rd to remove a drainage bag.

“If I would have waited one more day, the doctors told me I probably wouldn’t be here with you, be able to talk to you guys.

But I’m here. I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass. I’ve lost a lot of different things. It’s been a brutal fight. I’ve been learning how to walk again. It’s been a fight.

I’m not out of the woods yet, but Monday afternoon they are going to let me out of here.

Thank God, I’ve got a good wife. I’ve got great friends. My wrestling buddies are just amazing.”
