Jody Threat vs. Arianna Grace for TNA Knockouts Title Set for 3/5 TNA Impact! Show

TNA Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of next week’s live TNA Impact! show on March 5th at the Gateway Center Arena At College Park in College Park, Georgia.

This new match announced was a TNA Knockouts World Championship match of Jody Threat vs. Arianna Grace (c).

MJF Pulled from March 26th Mystery Wrestling Event

Mystery Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled MJF from their upcoming Mystery Wrestling 23 event on March 26th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.

In an official statement from Mystery Wrestling owner Evil Uno stated he is upset about not being able to give the fans what was promised and will be using the next couple of weeks to sort out a suitable replacement. Uno also announced that Taka Michinoku will be making an appearance at the upcoming event. Uno stated that Michinoku’s appearance was originally intended to be a surprise.

The British Bulldog’s WWE Hall of Fame Ring Recovered After Theft Incident in Canada

As noted before, a travel bag belonging to former WWE wrestler Davey Boy Smith Jr. was stolen as part of a recent break-in theft incident at a hotel in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada where wrestlers who were working for Canadian Wrestling Elite promotion were staying. This travel bag contained several items including the WWE Hall of Fame ring that had belonged to Smith Jr.’s late father “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith.

The official Instagram account for The British Bulldog provided an update on Thursday stating that the WWE Hall of Fame ring has been found and recovered by police after someone had tried to pawn it off.

Davey’s @wwe Hall of Fame Ring has been found at a pawn shop in Lloydminster and the ring is in the process of being returned to @dbsmithjr Remaining missing items probably will begin to turn up now. Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Prime Time Wrestling recently announced that Mercedes Mone will be making an appearance for the company at their More Mone, More Problems event on March 29th in Poland. It was announced that Mone will be defending her PTW Women’s Championship against an opponent to be named later at the event.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE currently has scheduled for Lucha Libre AAA to hold an AAA TV tapings on April 11th in the United States. It was reported that similar to previous AAA tapings since WWE’s acquisition, the current plan is to hold a triple episode taping that night. It was reported that the exact location for this upcoming taping is currently not known but speculated that it could be taking place in Texas.

Pro Wrestling Junkie recently announced that Jonathan Gresham will be making an appearance for the company at their March Of Champions event on March 1st in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

As noted before, former WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr. was charged in April of 2023 with several criminal charges by the United States Department of Justice over his involvement in embezzling welfare funds as part of a larger welfare scandal in the State of Mississippi. DiBiase Jr.’s attorneys filed a motion earlier this month requesting a mistrial due to one of his attorneys being unavailable for several weeks due to a health issue. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that The United States District Court of The Southern District of Mississippi (Northern (Jackson) issued a ruling this past Wednesday rejecting DiBiase Jr.’s motion to have a mistrial declared. Johnson reported that this is the second time that the court has denied a mistrial request from DiBiase Jr.’s attorneys.

Thursday’s NJPW x CMLL Fantasticamania 2026 event in Tokyo, Japan featured Averno defeating Atlantis Jr. to become the new CMLL World Historic Light Heavyweight Champion.

In a recent interview with FOX News Digital, Rocky Romero gave his thoughts about the current working relationship between AEW, NJPW, and CMLL. Romero stated “What’s cool about it is AEW, especially Tony Khan, has so much respect and so much love for New Japan and New Japan has always been supportive of AEW. I think it’s a partnership that really works and obviously it’s an essential partnership when you’re going against someone who has such a huge market share in WWE. So, I think it’s very strategic and now that we’ve thrown CMLL into the mix, these three big promotions really working fluidly together and working on storylines that cross all three promotions and having talent go from each company and champions.“

WWE Hall of Famer recently reflected on Twitter about him celebrating his 77th birthday this past Wednesday. Flair stated “If You Have To Be 77, I Couldn’t Have Enjoyed A Better Day In My Life.
