Liv Morgan Comments on Her Feeling “Pissed” During Her Shoulder Injury Recovery
Liv Morgan made her surprise return from a shoulder injury at this past November’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event. Prior to her return, Morgan had been out of action since June of that year.
Sports Illustrated’s The TakeDown on SI held a recent interview with Morgan. One of the topics discussed included Morgan’s thoughts about how she felt “pissed” throughout her recovery from her injury due she felt that she had good things going for her before the injury.
“Yeah, I was pissed, I was mad. I was mad my whole injury. I was mad the whole entire time. I feel like I got injured in a moment where I had multiple things going on for me. I was really enjoying and loving what I was doing so to have that taken away from me for an extended period of time, I was angry. I was quite literally angry the whole entire time that I was recovering. So I feel like I came back with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, just because, I felt like my career was taken from me, and I did not appreciate that… And I was like, ‘Why the hell did this happen?”
Morgan also gave her thoughts about how she has to settle on the thought that the injury happened for a reason and how it led to her coming back to finally win the Women’s Royal Rumble in her wrestling career.
“I have to settle on believing that it happened for a reason. So yes. I have to believe that this happened for my greater good at the end of the day, even though I didn’t believe that the whole entire time that I was injured, and so yes, I will settle on this injury happened so that I could come back, finally win the Royal Rumble, finally headline WrestleMania and walk out a champion. Which one? I don’t know but, walk out a champion nonetheless.”

Je’Von Evans Says He Had Practiced Kofi Kingston-Style Spot For Royal Rumble Match
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Je’Von Evans as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Evans revealing that he had practiced a Kofi Kingston style save spot for the Men’s Royal Rumble match and gave his reason why he decided to not use it.
“Going back to the Rumble, everybody was kind of expecting me to do the Kofi Kingston save like, ‘Oh, is he going to jump from the table to the apron or whatever?’ I tried it. I tried it and it worked but I’m glad we didn’t do it because I feel like Kofi, he made that so memorable and his. I don’t want to continue something that he already made legendary, you know? That was his thing so I want to create something that everyone looks at and goes, ‘Oh, that’s Je’Von Evans.’ I always want to be myself for sure.”
