Grammy award winner musician Bad Bunny last appeared and wrestled for WWE at their Backlash 2023 event in May of 2023 in Bad Bunny’s home country of Puerto Rico.
Logan Paul revealed in a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast that there have been recent talks regarding the potential of him having a match with Bad Bunny in WWE in the future.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE has been in contact with Bad Bunny’s representatives well in advance of his Super Bowl LX half-time show gig earlier this month. It was reported that WWE officials were gauging his interest and availability for this April’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was reported that it is currently not known how far the talks between the two sides have progressed nor where it stands but the conversations were positive.
One source spoken to reportedly stated that WWE would “absolutely” welcome Bad Bunny at WrestleMania 42 even if it is just for an on-screen appearance and not a wrestling match.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources confirmed that WWE is indeed discussing a potential match with Bad Bunny but this would likely be of the tag team variety and involving Paul. Alvarez reported that this match is not likely to be a singles match nor is probably not likely to take place at WrestleMania 42.
