Rey Fenix Appears & Challenges Laredo Kid for AAA World Cruiserweight Title
Saturday’s taped AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 Week 3 show featured Rey Fenix making a surprise appearance.
Following Laredo Kid defeating TJ Perkins, Jack Cartwheel, and Dragon Lee in a Four-way match to retain his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, Kid’s celebration was interrupted by Fenix’s music playing and him coming out. Fenix made his way out to the ring and confronted Kid challenging him for a shot at his title.

El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Penta for WWE Intercontinental Title Set for 4/11 AAA TV Show
Saturday’s taped AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 Week 3 show also featured one new match announced for the card of the April 11th AAA TV show on Fox Latin America and WWE and Lucha Libre AAA’s YouTube channels.
This new match announced was a WWE Intercontinental Championship match of El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Penta (c).
This new match was setup following Vikingo coming out to the ring with Omos and Dorian Roldan. After some words, Vikingo stated that he is leaving to go to Wrestlemania because he wants the WWE Intercontinental title. Vikingo then called out Penta, who came out to the ring. After some insults words directed at Vikingo, Penta accepted Vikingo’s challenge for his title.
It was announced that this match will be taking place on the April 11th AAA TV show in Mexico City, Mexico.
