Big Bill & Bryan Keith Debut New Tag Team Name of “Paid In Full”

Thursday’s ROH TV show on HonorClub featured AEW and Ring of Honor talents Big Bill & “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith officially debuting a new name for their tag team.

During the show, Bill & Keith were introduced under the new tag team name of “Paid In Full” for their tag team match against Darian Bengston & Kiran Grey, which was won by Bill & Keith.

Bill and Keith were previously known under the team name of The Learning Tree during their time together with Chris Jericho as a group.

Thunder Rosa Comments on Persephone Signing With AEW

As noted before, CMLL talent Persephone signed a dual contract with AEW and CMLL this past January.

ABC 7 KVIA held a recent interview with Thunder Rosa. One of the topics discussed included Rosa’s thoughts about CMLL talent Persphone signing a dual contract with AEW and her being excited for Persphone’s future in AEW.

“Off the air, we mentioned Persephone who is signed with CMLL and AEW. [She is] a local here from El Paso, someone who was going with the name of Black Widow. She actually wrestled for me a couple years ago when I had Mission Pro Wrestling. I just see her grow and see how loved she is in Mexico and now here with some of the pay-per-views that she’s done to show her talent. She’s so talented. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I’m excited to see where she’s going.”

Penelope Ford Sprained Ankle Injury Update

As noted before, Penelope Ford has been out of action for AEW since suffering a sprained ankle injury during her AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match at the February 25th AEW Dynamite show in Denver, Colorado.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources confirmed that the initial fear within AEW was that Ford had suffered a broken ankle injury that was revealed in the days after to have been just a sprained ankle instead.

Sapp reported that Ford is currently expected to only miss a few weeks due to her injury.

Sapp also reported that there was a lot of optimism about Ford’s injury and recovery timetable once she was able to do a backstage digital interview segment with Lena Kross and Megan Bayne.
