Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that he has gotten conflicting information from his sources regarding if Gabe Kidd has signed a contract with AEW.
Sapp reported that one promoter spoken to stated that they believe Kidd has agreed to a deal with AEW.
Those spoken to within NJPW and those familiar with Kidd’s situation reportedly are currently unsure if has indeed secured a deal with AEW.
Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that Kidd tends to “play his cards very close to the vest” in regards to his status with AEW.
Kidd is currently not listed on AEW’s roster page which is usually an indication of someone being signed to the company.
Kidd has been working for NJPW since January of 2020 and has made several appearances for AEW since June of 2024.
