El Satanico Wins in His Retirement Match

Friday’s CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas 2026 event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured El Satanico defeating Blue Panther and Atlantis in a Three-way match.

This match was notable for being El Satanico’s retirement match for his in-ring wrestling career. El Satanico’s in-ring career spanned for 53 years.


Princesa Sugehit Loses in Lucha de Apuestas Hair Match

Friday’s CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas 2026 event also featured Marcela and Magnifica defeating Princesa Sugehit in a Lucha de Apuestas, Hair vs. Hair Three-way match.

This match was held under one fall rules and whoever was pinned or submitted would be required to shave off their hair as per match stipulation.


Pólvora Loses in 8-Way Lucha de Apuestas Mask vs. Hair Match & Gets Unmasked

Friday’s CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas 2026 event also featured Max Star, Hombre Bala Jr., Virus, Cancerbero, Calavera Jr. I, Calavera Jr. II, and Coyote defeating Pólvora in an 8-way Lucha de Apuestas, Mask vs. Hair.

Max Star and Pólvora were the final two competitors remaining resulting in the match becoming a Mask vs. Mask match.

Following his loss, Pólvora took off his mask and handed it to Star. He then revealed his real name of José Luis Grande Escalante.


Hechicero Wins CMLL World Heavyweight Title

Friday’s CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas 2026 event also featured Hechicero defeating Claudio Castagnoli to become the new CMLL World Heavyweight Champion.

This was Hechicero’s second CMLL World Heavyweight Championship victory in his CMLL career.
